learndirect is a nationally recognised brand for learning and is the largest supplier of e-learning courses of its kind in the world. Aquila is the only learndirect provider which has a fully-fledged e-learning centre in Lowestoft, providing the full range of learndirect courses in the subjects listed (Click here for details). With this much to choose from, things can get confusing.

This is where our staff can lend a hand. Hilary,Tony and their staff can help you choose the course that suits your needs.

They will then enrol you on that course and away you go. You can learn at your own pace - there are no classes to attend.

You can do 2 hours a week or study for a whole day. learndirect have a selection of courses in English, Maths, IT and Business Management which will help you obtain the skills required to achieve those all important targets and get ahead in life.

The learndirect courses are so flexible to fit in with today's hectic lifestyles. You can do a course at the Aquila Training Centre or from home or work if you have access to the internet. Courses are broken down into bite sized chunks, so you can learn at a pace to suit you.

Whether you want to help your children with homework, apply for a promotion in your workplace or change career learndirect have many courses which could help.

At the centre we offer tutor support if you have any problems or are unsure about something. In the welcome packs you will find a card with our opening times and phone number. In addition on this website you will find a help desk (coming soon) page where you can post any questions that hopefully we can answer for you.

The most commonly asked question is 'How much will it cost me?' In most circumstances the cost to you is zero. All of our beginner I.T. courses are free for those on means-tested benefits, as are the skills for life and ESOL courses. More specialist courses are available starting from just £9.99. If you are unemployed then the chances are that funding is available for you, Aquila will be able to help you apply.
